"You're a piece of ****, you're all the same!"
I am 29 years old. I always loved customer service and going above and beyond for customers and ensuring their complete satisfaction. I am also a customer elsewhere and would like to be treated with the same respect I give to my clients on a day-to-day basis.
A couple of weeks ago, I received a call from a irate client who got charged for a long distance call she got and was picked up by a tower outside of the province. The customer started yelling and screaming at the top of her lungs as she said she never did this and never left the province.
She refused to listen to the fact that she was out of the province and kept talking over me telling me how we are "a bunch of f***ing scumbags" and all we want to do is "f**k over our clients" to ensure we make more revenue.
I kept trying to explain the findings on my end but she refused to hear me out. She told me, "You better clear the fucking charges! You're a piece of s**t! You guys are all the fucking same!"
She proceeded to tell me I was a puppet and that I for sure had no education to work in a place like employer XXX. I'm a university graduate.
I was on edge and it made me very anxious and angry that she refused to hear me out.
Employer XXX should put safeguards in place to ensure this doesn't happen in the future - three warnings then hanging up on the client.
