Fani Willis Appears at Daughter’s Arrest with ‘Ex-Lover’ Nathan Wade

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and Nathan Wade were together when her daughter Kinaya was arrested on Aug. 24. New body-worn camera footage obtained by Daily mail shows, despite Willis and Wade’s claims that they ended their romance in 2023.

Willis, who is leading the prosecution of former President Donald Trump for his alleged attempts to pressure Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find 11,780 votes” for him during the 2020 election, was shrouded in scandal after news broke that she had appointed Wade as a special prosecutor in the case without disclosing her romantic and financial relationship with him.

Trump previously accused Willis of “repeatedly publicly displaying racist animus” toward him, adding that she “consciously chose to ‘play the race card’ in a calculated effort to bring public condemnation upon the defendant and to divert public attention away from herself.”

Trump called Willis a “fake Fan” and a “humiliating embarrassment.”

Both Willis and Wade say their relationship ended for different reasons.

Wade said Good morning America that “they didn’t plan on having any workplace relationships. You’re not going to do that. These things develop organically. They develop over time.”

He added that “the moment that sobering moment came, we stopped it.”

Willis, however, testified in February to the contrary, saying, “Wade is so used to women that, as he once told me, the only thing a woman can do for him is make him a sandwich.” Willis added that the two “always had… violent arguments,” which ended their relationship.

Six months later, the two were spotted on a Georgia police officer’s body camera after Willis’ 25-year-old pregnant daughter, Kinaya, was pulled over for driving while using a cellphone. She was subsequently arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Willis and Wade can be seen approaching the bus stop and the officer asks, “Mom, Dad, who’s…” before Willis interrupts, saying, “Just a friend, thank you.”

The officer then explains to Willis that Kinaya’s license is suspended, which she says is “new” to her. When the officer asked for Willis’ address, Willis replied, “You can have my address, the rest of the world, no… for obvious reasons.”
