Car fire triggers gun on Washtenaw County highway

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI — A vehicle caught fire and a gun went off Wednesday on M-14 in Washtenaw County, authorities said.

Ann Arbor Township Fire Department firefighter Mason Fecker said crews were called around 11:30 a.m. Sept. 4 to the westbound M-14 freeway near Dixboro Road, northeast of Ann Arbor, for a report of a car on fire.
